Ronald McDonald Care Mobile

We launched the world’s 12th Ronald McDonald Care Mobile® on January 14, 2003. The Ronald McDonald Care Mobile® provides cost-free dental and medical care to children in south central Wisconsin and northern Illinois.

The Ronald McDonald Care Mobile® is a 40-foot, 26,000-pound mobile unit specifically designed for the delivery of pediatric health care.  It houses two patient exam rooms and a sterilization area.

This program is intended for children who would otherwise not be able to obtain medical or dental care.  A child is considered eligible if they qualify for Medicaid, BadgerCare (Wisconsin) or KidCare (Illinois), or if they have no insurance and cannot afford to pay for health services.  If a child has private insurance, we ask that they see a physician or dentist in their community.

Since 2003, we’ve provided over $2.2 million in free medical and dental services and treated over 8,000 children aboard the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile.
