A PLACE FOR HEALING
Without our services families would be forced to choose between being with their child and incurring the financial burden and emotional toll of being away from home or not being close to their child. This is not a choice anyone should have to make.
As Madison’s medical care has become increasingly sought-after, RMHC-Madison has seen an increase in need for services. We are sometimes able to accommodate families at local hotels, if we do not have a room in the House, but this temporary solution is becoming less available and is not a feasible long-term solution. Last year there were 461 night stays we were not able to accommodate families at the House. Today, we face having to turn away more families who need our help.

Without the Ronald McDonald House, we wouldn’t have been able to keep our sanity or stay connected as a family. Josie’s siblings can stay with her and me, keeping us all close. This has given Josie a sense of freedom and normalcy while receiving chemo and radiation treatment away from home.”
