Prepare A Meal

When families arrive back at the House after a long day, there is always a meal waiting for them. Many local organizations, restaurants, individuals, and House volunteers prepare meals for our families on a regular basis. In addition, we keep our pantries well stocked and the coffee pot full.

To schedule a meal, please contact Tara Hensley, 608.232.4671. Please review meal guidelines before scheduling.

If you’re interested in preparing a meal, please note the following updated health and safety guidelines and share this information with your group:

We may no longer accept any food prepared off site by a volunteer, group or individual (including baked goods, casseroles, desserts, snacks, etc.) All food prepared by volunteers must be prepared in the Ronald McDonald House kitchen.

Exceptions: Food prepared by a licensed retail food establishment can be accepted if the food had been protected from contamination and delivered directly from the licensed establishment to the Ronald McDonald House.

Packaged foods purchased from retail grocery stores in unopened containers, or whole fruits and vegetables can also be accepted.

Volunteers with communicable diseases (common cold, recent exposure to chicken pox, flu-like symptoms, etc.) may not come to the Ronald McDonald House due to the compromised immune systems of our children.

If you must cancel your meal, please notify us as early as possible at 608.232.4660
